On Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., the Bakersfield Police Department Traffic Enforcement Detail conducted Click It or Ticket enforcement patrol. During this period a total of 6 additional officers focused their efforts to ensure that occupants of vehicles traveling on BakersfieldÂ’s roadways are wearing their seat belts. A total of 114 citations were issued and five vehicles were impounded.
